Summary

I'm a techie at heart with a knack for Python, Django, AWS,
Kubernetes, and Docker. Right now, my passion is all about using
tech to shake up the real estate market in Latin America.
I kick-started Tokko Broker with a couple of other folks and watched
it grow into an international team of 60. The coolest part? We did it
all without a penny of venture capital. We took a market stuck in the XML era and brought it into the world of APIs. It was tough, it was
exciting, and it made a real difference.
Our platform made life easier for real estate brokers. We helped
them step up their game with customer relations and saved them
heaps of time and money on their listings and websites.
I'm pretty proud of the change we brought about in the real estate
sector. Now, I'm ready for the next challenge. I want to get back into the thick of things, leading a team, solving problems, and making
cool stuff happen. Bring it on!

Quinto Andar (Ex Navent)

2020-01present

Head of Real Estate Software Technology & Product

Argentina
Stepping up as the Head of Real Estate Software Technology & Product, I've
taken the reins of Navent's (Now called Quinto Andar Group after being acquired) real estate software operations across Argentina,
Uruguay, Mexico, Peru, Panama, Ecuador, and Venezuela.
I've got four departments under my wing: IT, Product, Customer Support, and Operations. A big part of my gig has been making sure the Tokko Broker
team and system blend smoothly into Navent's operations. We're talking about merging not just tech, but also people - getting everyone to pull together as one team.

And it's not just about merging with Navent. In 2019, we pulled off a pretty cool
move: we acquired Sumaprop, Tokko Broker's main competitor in Argentina.
So, I've also been in the thick of blending these two companies and software
systems into one supercharged platform.

So, from start-ups to acquisitions and mergers, I've been there, done that, and I'm excited about what's next.

Tokko Broker

CTO & Co founder (Acquired by Navent@2018)

Here's where my wild ride began, along with an incredible team.

As the co-founder and trailblazing coder of Tokko Broker, I was at the heart of creating what is now the leading CRM for real estate companies across Latin
America. We built a platform that's now the go-to tool for 5000 companies, dealing with millions of listings across Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Peru,
Ecuador, Panama, and Mexico.

I was the one calling the shots on tech decisions, designing the architecture, and picking the right technologies. But it wasn't a solo show. While I led the tech side of things, we all wore multiple hats, chipping in on everything from business administration to commercial strategy.

Our biggest challenge? Convincing traditional real estate pros to switch from paper notes and filing cabinets to the digital age. But we did it, showing them the power of cloud-based software over on-premises servers.

As we grew from a small band to a symphony of over 60 across Argentina,
Peru, and Mexico, my role evolved too. I learned to hire the right people, mentor juniors, and navigate the complex world of the real estate market.

So, yeah, it's been a wild ride, and I've grown every step of the way.

Vostu

Senior Python Developer for BI Team

Argentina

So, here's the scoop: I was the guy who designed, developed, and implemented the ETL system for the BI Team.

When I first rocked up, it was a bit of a mess. Just a bunch of SQL Statements
chugging away on MySQL servers and then imported into a Vertica database.
And let me tell you, it was slow. We're talking about a two-day slog for each
run, and that was just for partial data.

So, I rolled up my sleeves and got to work on our own custom ETL process.
The result? We got it down to a cool 6 hours, handling data for 30 million users
every single day. And that's not all. We even ran custom post-script Vertica
SQL statements to pre-process info for corporate dashboards.

The tech stack was a real mix: Hadoop, HBase, Vertica Analytics Database,
MySQL, PostgreSQL, Python, Tornado, Twisted, RabbitMQ, Redis, and a few
others.

Senior Developer

Argentina

So, Cyclelogic got snapped up by Movile, and things started to change. They
were all about Java.

And Python? Not so much.

I stuck around to help shift the systems over, but I wasn't really feeling the whole Java vibe. It wasn't my cup of tea, so I decided it was time to hit the road and look for new adventures.

Software Architect

Argentina

Back at my old job, I was getting pretty fed up with the VB6/ASP/SQL Server
stack. So, I started moonlighting with Python, learning the ropes on my own
time.
That led me to this gig, where I started as a fresh-faced Junior Python
Programmer and worked my way up to Senior Programmer/Junior Architect.
Not too shabby, right?

I was part of the architecture dream team, building the core systems and APIs
that let the dev team turbocharge the final products. We were the ones crafting
APIs and platforms to chat with telephone carriers all over Latin America, handling everything from sending and receiving SMS to billing customers. Oh, and we managed content for short message numbers, dealing with massive
volumes of transactions.

This is where I got my hands dirty with Django and asynchronous
programming. And when Python didn't cut it speed-wise, we even dabbled in C

The tech stack? Everything from Python, Django, C++, MySQL, Postgres,
SQL Server, and Delphi to Redis, CouchDB, and RabbitMQ. A real tech
smorgasbord.
